  • Two Yards of Satan is a comedy about the main character PAM accidentally summoning SATAN into her house because she misspelled the fabric "Satin". The flow of this play is oriented around a series of continuous and unexpected humor. The mood of this play is lighthearted, enjoyable, and as unexpectedly funny as possible. To keep the audience focused on the dialogue, the setting of this play should be relatively stationary. Therefore, there aren't any scenic transitions. Rather, I used my favorite movers to highlight entrances and exits in between funny dialogues. For example, when SATAN was dressed as a cop, I programmed two movers to simulate police strobe lights on the cyc. I also used the movers to highlight the differences between SATAN and HOT JESUS's entrance, as the two characters shows completely opposite vibes - SATAN gives a seldom and creepy dark red, while HOT JESUS has a warm, outgoing, and welcoming room-tone light.
